Well, not a huge response to the survey in the summer newsletter, with only five readers indicating how much they’d saved with their membership card. The rest of you haven’t lost it have you? If so, never fear! An all shiny new card will be issued shortly when you’ve paid the 2010/11 fee.
But of those who did answer the survey, the majority saved a whopping £10 to £19… on average TWICE their membership fee. And bearing in mind the survey question was for 2010, so not including Christmas, the average for the whole year is certain to be higher as we all trip along to Huntingdon Garden & Leisure to see their Christmas display (opened in October, believe it or not!).
Happy shopping… and if you haven’t already done so, please do answer this newsletter’s survey on where you’re buying your seeds, potatoes, onions etc for next year. Oh, and if you have an survey idea for the winter newsletter just email it to the secretary.
